What are the hours to pick up and drop off my dog?
6:30 AM to 9:00 PM. When you drop your dog off, we ask that you agree to a time and stick to
it. This allows Pet Vacation to prepare for your pets arrival, thereby minimize their stress.
When you pick your dog up, we ask that you simply call prior to your arrival and we will have
them ready to go home.
Is my pet safe from the elements?
Yes. All of the homes are insulated floor to ceiling. They are heated with LP furnaces in the
winter. In summer, the houses are equipped with fans and one of the houses is air conditioned.
Pet Vacation takes great care to supervise your pet during their stay with us.
Will my dog be with other dogs?
Yes unless aggression prohibits contact. Each home can house four to six dogs. I take great
care to match boarders based on their personalities. Aggressive dogs are segregated.
Do we bring our own food?
Yes. Pet Vacation does not want to change your dog's diet. Pet Vacation does provide dog
treats and we ask that you notify us of any food issues your dog may have.
Will Pet Vacation administer medication?
Yes. There is no extra charge for the administration of medications.
Is there a discount for multiple dogs ?
Yes. There is a multiple dog discount of $1.00/ dog per day.
Will my dog receive attention at Pet Vacation?
Yes. Pet Vacation is located on the homestead and your pets need for attention is paramount. A
great deal of time is spent throughout the day with each dog playing and sometimes just
watching TV. Pet Vacation is designed to offer your pet the option of going in and out of their
homes at will.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes. For the safety of your pet and the other boarders we ask that you provide verification of all
vaccinations. Also, Pet Vacation requires that your dog be up to date on Bordatella (kennel
cough) and be protected from fleas and ticks.
